    Jordan grew up wrestling and playing many other sports. He won state for Summerville High School 4 years in a row, going undefeated in 3 of those regular seasons. He placed 7X at Fargo nationals, and once at NHSCA Nationals, making him an 8X All-American in High School. He was an alternate on the Junior World Team, before ending his wrestling career in his sophomore year of college.

    After wrestling, Jordan got involved in functional fitness, and then eventually transitioned to weightlifting. He coached fitness classes for a number of years before starting the Barbell Club in 2020.

    Since opening the club, Jordan has coached athletes in two sports to a national silver medal, and many other youth and senior medals at various other high level events.

  • Barbell Club Head Coach- USAW L1

    Jaimerius "JJ" Williams has been coaching weightlifting for 2 years now, and was recently promoted to Head Coach for the Barbell club

    Jaimerius grew up playing multiple sports, and focused on football. He had several serious knee injuries, which turned his focus to lifting. After powerlifting for several years, he made the switch to weightlifting, and placed 2nd across the board at the 2024 USAW National Championships.

    Aracely brings unique experience to our coaching staff. After years of functional fitness training plagued by under-fueling/eating and not getting results, she changed her entire approach. Focusing on fueling her body well for both her workouts and recovery yielded the results she was seeking. Aracely primarily coaches weightlifting and sports development athletes. She also take on personal training clients!

    Renae is our resident athletic trainer/sports medicine specialist and Hammer Fit Coach! Renae has a wealth of knowledge that is of great benefit to our gym. Be on the lookout for her scheduled CPR courses! She is a wealth of knowledge around injuries and rehabilitation. Find her coaching our evening classes!
